Indian Oil Issues Bid For Solar Projects In Rajasthan And Gujarat
Ahmedabad-based Param Renewable has emerged winner for the 5 MW tender floated by Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Won under competitive bidding, the contract is valued at INR 1.47 Cr. The firm emerged as the lowest bidder. Param Renewable is the O&M arm of Gensol. The 5 MW plant will be set up in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Other bidders who bid for the project included APM Projects, Diwakar Renewable & Infra Pvt Ltd, Emeral Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd, Ilios Power Pvt Ltd, Jayram Industries India Pvt Ltd, Shri Sai Electrical, Solar Optimised Line Pvt Ltd and Vashrambhai A Patel.
Under the scope of the project, the winning firm will be responsible for the completion of the work in three years. The Param Renewable will be required to submit a deposit of INR 1,24,800.
Up until now, Param Renewable has contracted capacity worth 5000 MW.
Back in April, IOCL had issued a tender for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) inclusive-of one year Comprehensive Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of 70.0 KWp On-Grid Captive Solar Power Project with its further Comprehensive O&M for four years And provision of solar street light with five years warranty at Rewari Terminal, Haryana.
