Bihar Development Floated EOI Tender for Setting Up Manufacturing Unit

Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA) has floated a tender for the empanelment of manufacturers of Luminary, Battery, and Solar PV modules for setting up the Manufacturing Unit. BREDA invites the bids through Expression of Interest (EOI). 

For participating in these Bihar Development tenders, the bidders need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria specified under for Expression of Interest (EOI) for empanelment of manufacturers of the luminary, lithium batteries, and Solar PV modules for setting up a manufacturing unit in the state of Bihar. The last date to submit the bid is August 04, 2022. Bids will be opened on August 05, 2022, at 03:30 PM.

Rs. 29,500/- is the cost of bidding document, which is Non- Refundable. The interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 10 lakh as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). This earnest money deposit is Non- Refundable.

Eligibility Criteria for the Bidders

Bidder should have a valid Factory License as per Factory Act 1948. The bidder should have valid GST registration & ISO 9001 certificates.

For Solar Manufacturing Plant, the bidder should have at least 25 MW of annual manufacturing capacity. For lithium batteries manufacturing plant, the bidder should have at least 50000 Nos of annual manufacturing capacity. & the last one, for Luminaries Manufacturing Plant, the bidder should have at least 50000 Nos. of annual manufacturing capacity. 

For the last three financial years, the minimum average annual turnover of the participated bidder should be:

For Local Manufacturers of Bihar

With the valid GST registration of Bihar, a Local Manufacturer of Bihar which has a Manufacturing Unit for Solar PV modules with 10 MW per year along with Luminary / Li-Battery for a capacity not less than 25000 nos. These local manufacturers shall also be eligible to participate in the BREDA tender bidding process.

For the last three financial years, the minimum average annual turnover of the participated bidder should be: 

For Solar Manufacturing Plant, it should be Rs. 10 crores per year.

For the Lithium batteries Manufacturing Plant, it should be Rs. 5 crores per year.

For Luminaries Manufacturing Plant, it should be Rs. 5 crores per year.

Bidder should have a positive Net worth at the close of the preceding Financial Year.
