Bengaluru-based APM Projects has bagged the 5.2 MW solar project by Central Mine Planning & Design Institute. The project has been won through competitive bidding.

The tender is for the design, engineering, supply and procurement, construction, erection, fabrication, commissioning, testing, operation and maintenance of five years of grid connected ground mounted solar power plant of capacity 5.2 MW (DC)/4.0MW (AC) near truck parking in Giridih Area, CCL, Giridih, Jharkhand.

The others bidders that bid for the project were Eurja Infrastructure, Kishan Infrastructure Industries, Suryam International Private Limited and Uneecops Technologies Limited.

The Central Mine Planning and Design Institute, a mini ratna firm, is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited which is under the ownership of the Ministry of Coal.

Earlier, Coal India Limited had issued a tender for the design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of 20 MW (AC) solar Pv power plant with 6 Km Ohtl and 5 years O and M.
