APDCL Issues RFS for Engagement of Consultant for Wind Power Project

Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd has issued a tender for the procurement of 70 MW (AC) solar power from grid-connected ground mounted solar PV project. The said project is be developed in the village of Khudigaon Pt-II, Bilasipara, in Dhubri District of Assam on BOO (Build-Own-Operate) mode through tariff-based competitive bidding process. This will be followed by e-reverse auction. The discom has placed a ceiling tariff of Rs 4.00 per unit for the tender. Winning bidder will sign a 25 year PPA with APDCL for supply from the project.

The bid submission end date is 10.03.2023 at 14:00 Hrs. The bid opening date is 14.03.2023 at 14:00 Hrs. The last date and time for online submission of techno-commercial bids is 10.03.2023 at 15:00 Hrs.

The cost of RFS is INR 29500. The performance security is INR 14.11 Cr.

In a more recent news, the administration of Assam Cabinet revealed it will grant a power purchase subsidy of Rs 150 crores to APDCL.

APDCL had recently issued a tender for procurement of 200 MW solar power project under BOO Mode.

The APDCL tender follows a strong push for renewable energy, particularly solar, by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who has set  target of 1000 MW of solar capacity in the state by 2025 or earlier, with an investment of Rs 5,000 crores.
