MNRE stated the empanelment of these de-empaneled channel partners will not be considered for next one year.

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy on Wednesday announced that it has de-empanelled 71 channel partners/ new entrepreneurs including Juwi India Renewable Energies Private Limited, Amara Raja Electronics Limited and Luminous Power.  These channel partners has been de-empaneled for failing to enter installation data for grid connected solar rooftop projects.

MNRE in a statement said despite several reminders these channel partners have failed to update the details of Grid Connected Solar Rooftop Projects executed by them on the SPIN Portal, latest by 31st March 2017.

The ministry noted “it has been observed that 71 empanelled agencies (Annexure I) have not entered any installation data i.e. Project Completion Report (PCR) for grid connected solar rooftop projects on the SPIN portal. These agencies are hereby informed that they have been de-empanelled as Channel Partner/ New Entrepreneurs w.r.t. Grid Connected Rooftop and Small Solar Power Plants programme of the Ministry, with immediate effect. MNRE stated that empanelment of these 71 channel partners will not be considered for next one year.
