Altigreen & Bolt.Earth Sets Sights on Deployment of 100 3.3 kW Charging Stations

Altigreen, which manufactures electric vehicles designed for last-mile applications, has entered into an agreement with Bolt.Earth, a firm which provides electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The two firms have together set sights on the deployment of a hundred 3.3 kW charging stations for electric three-wheelers within a month. Further, they intend to set up more than 5,000 charging points in the period of the next three years.

Under the partnership, Altigreen will undertake promotional activities to impart education to users of electric three-wheelers about Bolt.Earth’s app, that helps drivers look up charging stations near them. In-store and on-the-ground campaigns will also be held.

The demand for electric three-wheelers, in the last-mile delivery sector in particular, has been rising exponentially. Electric three-wheelers accounts for 21% of the market in the goods category. Despite the growing demand, there is lack of EV charging infrastructure in the country.

Altigreen recently entered into partnerships with LOHUM, Magenta Mobility.
