Oil India has invited bids for consultancy services for 100 MW ground-mounted or floating solar and wind power plants in India.

The last date to submit the bids is June 27, 2023.

The successful bidder will be responsible for preparing a pre-feasibility report and a detailed project report. The reports will delve into wind and solar energy potentials and markets, the government’s wind and solar policies It will also offer an analysis of technology for the generation of wind and solar power plants and as well as the selection of a suitable technology for the proposed plants.

The candidate will also offer project management consultancy services for the said power plants.

As of now, Oil India has 14 MW of solar plants in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The firm has a cumulative capacity of 174.1MW of wind energy power plants established in Rajasthan, Gujrat, and Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier, the government of Himachal Pradesh and Oil India Ltd entered into a partnership for the development of a framework for cooperation in harnessing new and renewable energy sources (NRES) in Himachal Pradesh.
