WattPower Sigs Pact with Solarium To Expand In MP, Maharashtra

Renewable energy firm WattPower on Thursday announced a strategic partnership with Solarium Green Energy Ltd to accelerate solar adoption in rural parts of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra under the government’s KUSUM scheme.

As part of the agreement, Solarium has been appointed as a Value Added Partner, tasked with strengthening on-ground implementation and last-mile delivery of WattPower’s modular solar solutions targeted at farmers and small enterprises.

The collaboration is aimed at advancing decentralised electrification and expanding access to clean energy in India’s agricultural regions. It aligns with the Centre’s KUSUM initiative, which promotes solar-powered irrigation and aims to reduce the rural sector’s dependence on diesel-based systems.

Solarium, which has a strong presence in central and western India, will leverage its regional network to ensure smooth deployment of WattPower’s systems in areas with limited grid access. The systems are designed for compatibility with local infrastructure and promise high uptime and durability.
