Waaree Renewable Technology Incorporates New Subsidiary By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Wed, May 21st, 2025 Waaree Renewable Technology Incorporates New Subsidiary Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), a player in India’s renewable energy sector, has announced the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary named Sunsational Power Private Limited. The company was incorporated in India on May 20, 2025, and will operate within the solar renewable energy industry. In a regulatory filing submitted to both BSE and NSE, WRTL informed that the new entity will be fully owned by the company and has an authorized capital of ₹1,00,000, divided into 10,000 equity shares of ₹10 each. As the entity is newly formed, it has not yet commenced business operations, and its Certificate of Incorporation is awaited. Objective Of Incorporation The objective behind the incorporation of Sunsational Power is to facilitate the generation, accumulation, transmission, and distribution of power derived from non-conventional energy sources such as solar, wind, hydel, mechanical, and electrical systems. The new entity will also be involved in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of power plants and associated infrastructure. The firm also sai that the new subsidiary will aid in setting up Solar Parks and Renewable Energy Systems anywhere in India. In its disclosure, Waaree clarified that this acquisition does not involve a related party transaction, and the new company is being established at arm’s length. The company also noted that no regulatory approvals were required for the incorporation, and the consideration for the acquisition is in cash, with WRTL acting as the sole subscriber to the Memorandum of Association (MOA). The creation of Sunsational Power aligns with Waaree’s long-term strategic roadmap to strengthen its presence in the renewable energy space and enhance its project execution capabilities across India.
