Waaree Renewable Technologies Receives LoA for Solar Project of 6.5 MW

EPC firm Waaree Renewable Technologies has announced that it has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from energy arm of one of India’s leading conglomerate in steel, power and infrastructure sector. The firm will be responsible for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services in respect of setting up of a solar power project of 6.5 MWp capacity. This will entail five years of operation and maintenance services.

As per the firm, the project is expected to be completed in the Financial Year 2023-24, as per the terms of order.

It may be recalled the Waaree Renewable Technologies had recently announced that it had secured an order towards the construction of a 221.8 MW solar power project for a major Indian steel manufacturer. The firm will be responsible for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works of the solar power project. The project is expected to be completed in FY 2023-24 as per the terms of the contract.

In a more recent announcement, a Letter of Award given to the firm for the execution of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) of a solar power project of 7 MWp (DC) capacity stood cancelled.
