Vish Iyer Joins Caelux As Managing Director (India &Middle East)

US-based solar technology company Caelux has appointed Vishwanathan “Vish” Iyer as Managing Director for India and the Middle East, as it seeks to expand into key growth markets.

Iyer, a cleantech industry veteran with over two decades of experience, was previously the Global Chief Commercial Officer and a founding executive at Jakson Green. There, he helped raise private equity capital and scale a multi-gigawatt solar platform, closing deals worth more than $600 million through strategic joint ventures.

At Caelux, Iyer will lead the company’s entry into India—currently the world’s third-largest solar market—and support expansion in the Middle East. His responsibilities will include market development, customer engagement, operational readiness, and partnership building.

Caelux CEO Scott Graybeal said Iyer’s experience in complex, high-growth markets made him a strong fit for the role.

Earlier in his career, Iyer held positions at Siemens, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra Partners, and Sterling and Wilson, working across solar, energy storage, and EV charging sectors. He also founded a Singapore-based cleantech advisory firm and was a Rising Star Finalist at the S&P Global Platts Global Energy Awards.

Caelux develops perovskite-based solar technology aimed at improving the efficiency and performance of conventional silicon solar modules through its proprietary “Active Glass” product.
