Vikram Solar to Launch Half-Cut-Cell Solar Module at REI 2018

The new modules by Vikram Solar are based on the latest half-cell technology that increases module output by over 15 Wp per module compared to standard PV modules.

vikram solarLeading solar solutions provider, Vikram Solar has affirmed the launch of its half-cut-cell solar module at the annual 3-day Renewable Energy India Expo 2018 (REI 2018) to be conducted from 18th to 20th September.

REI 2018 , after 11 years, has become a one stop platform for national and international renewable energy stakeholders to showcase their technical products.

Vikram Solar, in line with the need to boost the power output of the solar modules, has planned to seize opportunity in one of the largest renewable energy expo of 2018 with the launch of its cutting edge technology in modules.

Moreover, the new modules are based on the latest half-cell technology that increases module output by over 15 Wp per module compared to standard PV modules.  The technology also boosts efficiency up to 19.56 percent.

Taking the high costs of the solar modules into view, the company has been able to develop new high-density module technology engineered to generate more power from advanced mono-PERC half-cells, thus achieving better Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).

Also, the innovative design principle minimizes shadow-loss through a series-parallel cell connection, when one-half of the modules are affected by shading.

The high efficiency half-cell modules are also believed to be perfect fit for all utility and rooftop solar power projects.
