Vikram Solar Secures 200 MW Order as AB Energia Expands Solar EPC Operations

Kolkata-based solar PV module manufacturer Vikram Solar has secured an order for 200 MW of high-efficiency solar modules from AB Energia, an end-to-end EPC solutions provider for commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects. Sharing the order details in a press release, the company explained, "The modules, rated at 590 Wp and above, will be deployed across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat — three solar-progressive states that are accelerating their clean energy adoption."

Vikram Solar further explained, "As part of this order, Vikram Solar will supply its advanced M10R N-Type TOPCon modules, designed for superior performance, reliability, and higher energy yield. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in September 2025 and continue through early 2026."

AB Energia, a recent entrant into the solar structure manufacturing vertical with the launch of its subsidiary AVIISII Electric Systems Pvt. Ltd., is moving towards backward integration in its EPC operations. The new entity recently began manufacturing fixed-tilt steel mounting structures, a critical component of ground-mounted solar plants. By internalising production, AB Energia, which is in the solar structure manufacturing business, aims to strengthen quality control, reduce costs, and improve supply timelines. Mounting structures typically account for 7–8% of overall EPC costs, or about ₹18–20 lakh per MW.
