UBM India has announced its 11th edition of Solar Energy Investment and Technology Forum. The event scheduled on 22nd April 2016 at Hotel Marriot, Jaipur aims to provide an industry platform to associations and industry leaders, building owners, consultants, manufacturers, contractors, Governments and high-level decision makers, academia, green power providers, project and technology developers, large corporate SME’s and banks, system integrators and investors to debate and discuss business opportunities in the solar sector.

The forum will include a series of three panel discussions on topics such as ‘Harnessing Solar Potential of Rajasthan beyond MW’, ‘Best Practises in RE Project Development’ and ‘Empowering Discoms: Challenges Involved and Solutions Evolved’ and a presentation on ‘Rajasthan: Indigenous Manufacturing Hub’ by eminent industry experts. Eminent industry leaders like B.K. Dosi, IAS, Managing Director, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation; A.K. Jain, Managing Director, Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd., Jaipur; RajendraPrasad Barwar, Director, (Operations), Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd.; Rahul Prithiani, Director, CRISIL Research; P. Vinay Kumar, COO, Greenko Energies Private Limited; Ketan Mehta, Director Operations, Rays Power Infra; Sachin Singh,  Head Business Development (Distributed Solar), Mahindra Susten Private Limited and others.

The event will also see the launch of an exclusive report on Solar Energy which will be published by CRISIL, the knowledge partner for the forum.

Speaking on the side-lines of the announcement, Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, UBM India said, “Rajasthan shines on the solar map of India and has signed MoU’s for setting up of a cumulative generation capacity of 32000 MW in the solar sector.
