Tri Solar announces the Shipment of PV Modules for Japan Mega Plant

A giant PV modules manufacturer, Trina Solar Limited declares that it has commenced shipping of 57.1 MW solar modules to Toyo Engineering Corp. for the Mega Solar Plant in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

The company aims to wrap up the delivery process before third quarter of 2016.

The plant Osaki, constructed on an abandoned golf course is expected to be finished and charged in the fourth quarter of this year, this project is undertaken by Pacifico Energy Furukawa G.K.

The clean energy which has to be produce by the plant will be acquired by Tohoku Electric Power Company to energize the region.

‘We are delighted to be selected as an exclusive supplier to Toyo Engineering and Pacifico Energy again for their large-scale solar project,’ asserted by Ms. Ye Chen, President of Trina Solar Japan Ltd.

‘We believe the historic climate pact adopted at COP21 will further bolster the development of solar energy in Japan, as well as other countries around the globe. Looking ahead, we will continue to reinforce our deployment in the Japanese market while proactively devoting our efforts to prevent global warming through continuously delivering innovative solar products’, she added.
