Tirupur Tender For 4.8 MW Solar Plant

The Tirupur Smart City Limited (TSCL) has issued a tender inviting bids for setting up a 4.8 MW solar PV power plant at the Iduvai Village in Tirupur City Municipal Corporation, Tamil Nadu.

The brief scope of work for selected bidders will include the design, engineering, procurement and supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage at the site, site development, construction, erection and installation of equipment, testing and commissioning of the solar power system at Iduvai.

The project developers will also be required to provide the comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for 10 years after commissioning of the project.

The last date for bid submissions is February 25, 2019, and the bids will be opened on the same date i.e. February 25, 2019. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 27,16,000 along with their bids.

To be eligible, a bidder must have designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/supervised commissioning of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power Plant(s) of following cumulative installed capacity of 2.4 MW or more in Central Government/State Government/Local Body/PSU’s. And, have an average annual turnover in the preceding Three (3) financial years as on the date of Technical bid opening, not less than Rs 25 crore.

The Solar Power generated from the Project shall be wheeled to Tiruppur Corporation’s water pumping station and/or any other facilities as direct by the corporation.
