THDCIL Solicits Bids for 11 MW Floating Solar Plant

Miniratna PSU THDC has floated a tender for setting up of grid connected 11 MW (AC) floating solar PV (FSPV) plant on raw water reservoir of Khurja Super Thermal Power Plant.

The cost of the tender is pegged at INR 63.56 Crore (including GST).

The last date and time of bid is November 20, 2023 at 11 am. Techno-commercial bid opens on November 21, 2023

THDCIL envisages to add 2764 MW upto 2024-25 with anticipated commissioning of its three under construction power projects namely Tehri Pumped Storage Plant (1000 MW), Vishnugad HEP (444 MW) and Khurja STPP (1320 MW). Besides this, THDCIL is also developing 2000 MW Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh through JV with UPNEDA in the name of TUSCO Limited. THDCIL is also developing 10,000 MW Renewable Energy parks in the State of Rajasthan through JV with Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited in the name of TREDCO Limited.
