Tender for Solar Projects Worth 600 kW Issued in Rajasthan

The Bhilwara Milk Union has issued a tender for setting up of solar projects worth 600 kW under RESCO model in Rajasthan.

The Bhilwara Milk Union has issued a tender for setting up of solar PV power projects worth 600 kW under RESCO model on the vacant rooftops and grounds at the Bhilwara Zila Dugdh Utpadak Sahkari Sangh (BZDUSS) in Rajasthan.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, supply, installation, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar power plants on the BZDUSS premises. The project developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the solar plants for a period of 20 years from the date of successful commissioning.

The last date for bid submission is October 9, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the following date i.e. October 10, 2019. The date and time of opening of the financial bids will be intimated to the technically accepted bidders later. The developers will have a period of 6 months from the handing over of the project to complete all the work.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 3.5 crore and the interest bidders will have to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 7 lakh along with their bids. The projects will be developed on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

To be eligible, the bidder must have a  turnover of at least Rs 30 crore in the last three financial years. And, should also have designed/ installed/ erected/ commissioned grid-connected solar PV power plants of at least cumulative 10 MW capacity prior to the bid submission date.

Recently, we reported that Vikram Solar has commissioned a rooftop solar plant for SL Nutritions at RIICO Industrial Area in Nagaur, Rajasthan. The company revealed that it used 1,400 of 315 Wp (watt peak) and 355 of 330 Wp modules to build the rooftop plant with a capacity of 558 kW.
