Tender For Preparation of DPR for 4 MW Solar Plant at Trichy Airport

AAI has issued a tender, seeking bids from eligible agencies for preparation of DPR for the proposed 4 MW solar PV power plant at the Trichy Airport.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has issued a tender, seeking bids from eligible agencies for providing the consultancy service for preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed 4 MW ground-mounted solar PV power plant at the Trichy Airport.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the submission of a DPR consisting of Techno-Economic feasibility study, and assessment of the possible capacity of solar plant which can be installed in the available area (for a tentative capacity of 4MWp or more). The bidders will also be responsible for preparation of plant layout, SLD for the power system, protection system design, drawings, water supply pipeline layout, etc. as required. And, auxiliary power supply arrangement for the plant for non-solar hours. The work on the project must be completed within two months from the issue of the Letter of Award.

The last date for bid submission is June 20, 2019, and the bid opening (based on the three envelope bidding process) will be carried out on June 26 and June 27, 2019, and then finally on July 3, 2019. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 5 lakhs and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 10 thousand.

To be eligible, the agencies should have successfully installed or provided consultancy services for at least one grid-connected solar PV plant of 4 MW or above during the last seven years. And, should have an annualised average financial turnover of Rs 1.50 lakhs against works executed during the last three years ending March 31 of the previous financial year.

In March, AAI issued a tender seeking engineering consultancy for the work of revision of 6 MW solar PV power plant at the Kadapa Airport in Chennai. The scope of work from the Eligible Consultancy/EPC Firms having experience in Solar Power Projects for the Work of engineering consultancy for the work of revision of 6 MW solar PV power plant for an estimated cost of Rs 9 lakhs within a period of completion of three months.
