Tender For 175 MW Capacity Solar Projects Issued in Gujarat

Tender 175 MW Solar Gujarat

The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has issued a tender seeking EPC contractors for setting up of 175 MW cumulative capacity solar PV power projects in the state.

The 175 MW tendered capacity will be developed at two sites, a 75 MW solar system at Dhuvaran, Near Khambhat, District Anand and a 100 MW at Raghanesda Ultra Mega Solar park, District Banaskantha in Gujarat.

The brief scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, supply and procurement, construction, erection, testing, commissioning of the two solar projects in the state. The developers will also be responsible for providing comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of the projects for a period of 10 years after commissioning.

The last date of bid submission is March 11, 2019, and the bids will be opened on the same date. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for February 28, 2019, to address the concerns raised by all the prospective bidders.

The estimated cost of the projects is Rs 711 crore, with the Dhuvaran Project estimated at 305 crore and the Raghanesda Project at Rs 406 crore. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money deposit along with their bids. Rs 3,05,00,000 (Dhuvaran) and Rs 4,06,00,000 (Raghanesda).

The project developers will have to complete the project in a period of 365 days from the date of issue of the letter of award.

To be eligible,

75 MW Dhuvaran: The Bidder shall have experience of design, supply, installation, commissioning and operation of cumulative installed capacity of 50 MW or above in or outside India on or after April 1, 2014, as on the deadline for submission of the bid. Out of the above-mentioned 50 MW, cumulative 40 MW capacity shall have been commissioned and in operation in India. And, there must at least one solar plant of 40 MW capacity. (Minimum Annual Turnover – Rs 275 crore)

100 MW Raghanesda: The Bidder shall have experience of design, supply, installation, commissioning and operation of cumulative installed capacity of 66 MW or above in or outside India on or after April 1, 2014, as on the deadline for submission of the bid. Out of the above-mentioned 66 MW, cumulative 52 MW capacity shall have been commissioned and in operation in India. And, there must at least one solar plant of 40 MW capacity. (Minimum Annual Turnover – Rs 366 crore)

75 MW Dhuvaran + 100 MW Raghanesda: The Bidder shall have experience of design, supply, installation, commissioning and operation of cumulative installed capacity of 115 MW or above in or outside India on or after April 1, 2014, as on the deadline for submission of the bid. Out of the above-mentioned 115 MW, cumulative 92 MW capacity shall have been commissioned and in operation in India. And, there must at least one solar plant of 40 MW capacity. (Minimum Annual Turnover – Rs 640 crore)
