The primary provider of financial services for the Tata Group, Tata Capital has developed and launched the “Green Switch Project,” a CSR initiative. The distant areas of Jharkhand’s Simdega district will receive consistent and uninterrupted green electricity through this initiative.

Under this Green Switch project, Tata Capital will provide clean home power to far-flung tribal hamlets with a focus on entrepreneurship, sustainability, health, and climate change. The project architecture comprises a central management structure and an extensible solar micro off-grid system to ensure that it may develop along with the changing needs of the neighborhood. The project intends to bring power to the distant regions of India that are currently without it.

According to the company, through the utilisation of renewable energy and a community collaboration concept, the project uses electricity generated from renewable sources to power unconnected homes and public areas.
