Suzlon Wins Repeat Order from Juniper for 50.4 MW Capacity

Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon has secured a new order for 50.4 MW for their 3 MW series turbines. The order has come from Juniper Green Energy Private Limited.

Suzlon will install 16 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower of their
new product with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each. The project is located at Dwarka district in Gujarat and is expected to be commissioned in 2025.

This is a repeat order from Juniper for the firm’s largest turbine rated 3.15 MW, S144‐140m from the 3 MW series. As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and execute the project including, erection and commissioning. Suzlon will also provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services post‐ commissioning.

Back in May, Suzlon Group had revealed that it had secured an order for the 3 MW product series aimed at the development of a 69.3 MW wind power project for Juniper Green Energy Private Limited. This project is also located at Surendra Nagar district in Gujarat and is expected to be commissioned in 2024.

The Group boasts a service portfolio of over 14 GW of wind energy assets and has 6 GW of installed capacity outside India.
