Sungrow, an inverter solutions supplier for renewables, showcased a comprehensive product portfolio covering utility and C&I PV and energy storage solutions at Solar Power Mexico, a solar energy trade show, on November 9th through the 11th.
The Mexican market is supported by low solar prices and is ripe with opportunity as solar grows. Mexico has a large population with energy demand that increases each year.
As part of the company's commitment to utility-scale applications, Sungrow's new SG350HX system was introduced onsite. The new arrival, which has a maximum output power of 352kW, seeks to redefine high-powered string inverters. The company claims that the new system guarantees an incomparable return of investment for stakeholders while ensuring excellent compatibility. In addition, the 6.25MW and 3.125MW medium-voltage transformer integrated turnkey inverter solutions for utility-scale projects were also on display.
The momentum for the C&I market continues forward. Sungrow offers its updated string inverters SG36CX-US and SG60CX-US, which are 36 kW and 60 kW solutions tailored to rooftop installations. Equipped with multiple MPPTs, the solutions enable high yields and are not impacted by shade. As a result of their compact designs and smart management, the solutions are known for easy installation and monitoring. These solutions are a good means of enabling communities and facilities to obtain clean energy while allowing for significant cost savings.
Energy storage technologies play a vital role in Mexico's transition to more forms of renewable energy. Sungrow has a holistic approach to the Mexico market with a series of energy storage system (ESS) solutions, says the firm. The highly integrated ESS can be widely used in multiple applications, including peak shaving, demand response and micro-grid applications. It features a higher energy density, enabling a smaller footprint and less investment.
"Mexico is booming with solar resources. We are delighted to increase our product portfolio to meet our customer demands. As a dedicated solar player, Sungrow will continue to develop and present new cutting-edge PV and ESS solutions to meet Mexico's transition to renewable energy," said Ada Li, Head of Sungrow Latin America.
