Sungrow Has Achieved Over 1GW of Inverter Shipment in India

Sungrow has held a Solar Gigawatt Day as part of this year’s India Solar Week event to commemorate its 1GW of PV inverter shipment to India. Sungrow has become the world’s first PV inverter supplier providing both String and central inverters rated at 1500 Vdc.

Entered into the Indian PV market in the early 2010s, Sungrow has experienced a rapid growth and has now achieved over 1GW of PV inverter shipment to this country. Established in 1997, Sungrow has shipped over 38GW of inverter equipment globally and has become the world’s largest PV inverter supplier since 2015.

The SG2500HV/SG3000HV turnkey station solution is featured by its 99% max. efficiency which lifts power yield, containerized design which saves cost for transportation and installation, and full power operation without derating at 50 degree Celsius. The SG125HV, the world’s most powerful 1500Vdc string inverter, is designed to significantly reduce installation and balance of system costs for utility-scale PV systems. Thanks to its Virtual Central Inverter Concept of installing at one place near the MV transformer, SG125HV significantly reduces the cost for installation and maintenance.
