Spinkraft Ventures & Roofsol Join Hands for 60 MW Solar Inverter Contract with Wattpower

Roofsol is Awarded Three Solar Projects of 6.2 MW Cumulative Capacity

Spinkraft Ventures Private Limited and Roofsol Energy Pvt Ltd have joined hands for a supply contract with a capacity of 60 MW. The agreement has been forged with Wattpower Systems Pvt. Ltd. The contract will pave the path for the delivery of inverters and components that convert solar panel-generated direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC) for employment in electrical systems.

The project is set for completion and commissioning by October this year.

Spinkraft is a Mumbai-based distributor of solar products like solar panels, Lithium-ion batteries and solar inverters. The solar distributor has supplied over 45,000 solar modules up till this financial year. The firm says it has supplied over 25 MW of inverters and modules, boasting of a revenue close to INR 82 crore. The firm informs that it is an authorised channel partner for Axitec, Solar Space, Zizi+, Mindra Green Energy, etc, including Watt Power.

Roofsol Energy delves into solutions in design, engineering, procurement and construction of solar plants along with operation and maintenance services. It has installed capacity of 200 MW so far.

WattPower, a provider of innovative energy solutions, recently announced a deal with ReNew Power. The agreement entails the supply of 1.2 Giga Watts (GW) of string inverters, making it one of the largest deals in the solar inverter industry. With a contract value of close to Rs 200 crores, this collaboration marked a significant milestone in advancing India’s transition to clean energy.
