Solis Secures ISO Certification For Info Security Management
Solis, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of solar inverters, has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its Information Security Management System by TÜV Süd, a globally recognised testing and certification agency.
The certification marks a key milestone for Solis as it expands its digital energy solutions portfolio. As smart energy systems grow more connected, cybersecurity has become a top priority for the sector. The ISO 27001 standard is widely regarded as the global benchmark for information security management.
“This certification is more than just a badge—it’s a commitment,” said Solis CEO Jimmy Wang. “Reliability today means not only delivering robust hardware but also ensuring the protection of user data, cloud services and connected systems. ISO 27001 demonstrates that we take this responsibility seriously as we scale our energy monitoring and smart control offerings worldwide.”
The certification applies across Solis' operations, including its energy monitoring platform, SolisCloud, which is integrating new features such as AI-based control and automated energy management.
Solis’ latest certification builds on an extensive track record of quality and regulatory compliance. The company already adheres to:
- UK’s PSTI cybersecurity regulation
- GDPR-aligned data protection protocols
- CE, UKCA and VDE safety certifications
- Grid compliance in major international markets
- IEC 61727 & IEC 62116 standards for grid connection
- IEC 62109-1 & 62109-2 for inverter safety
With digitalisation reshaping the global energy landscape, Solis says it will continue working with regulators and partners to ensure its platforms remain secure and future-ready.
