Solis Boosts Solar Adoption In Uttarkhand's Tehri Garwal Region
Global inverter manufacturing company Ginlong (Solis) Technologies has powered a series of solar energy installations totaling 200 kW across Uttarakhand’s Tehri Garhwal and Uttarkashi districts, advancing renewable energy access in the remote Himalayan region.
The firm said that these projects feature the company’s high-efficiency Solis-255-EHV-5G-PLUS inverters, known for their robust performance in challenging terrains and extreme environments. The installations, situated in areas with limited grid connectivity, aim to improve energy access and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
“These installations highlight our commitment to supporting India’s clean energy transition, especially in areas with difficult topography,” said Honey Raza, Sales Director at Solis. “Our inverter technology is engineered to perform in diverse and rugged conditions.”
Upto 99% Efficiency
The company said that Solis-255-EHV-5G-PLUS inverters offer up to 99% efficiency, 12 MPPTs for complex solar array designs, string-level monitoring, and IP66 protection, making them well-suited for high-altitude environments. Compatible with 1500V DC systems, the inverters also help reduce installation costs while enhancing return on investment.
The Uttarakhand initiative supports India’s National Solar Mission by expanding clean power to underserved regions and promoting local sustainability goals.
