SOFAR, a global provider of all-scenario PV & ESS solutions, announced that it has entered into a partnership with BelEnergy for the national distribution of the firm’s extensive solar and storage portfolio. With more than 250 thousand solar plants running nationwide, the rising number of end customers will be able to have access to SOFAR products through its partnership with BelEnergy.

Among the products available in the distribution agreement, there’re residential and C&I series including inverters from 3 to 100kW, and the low voltage G4 three-phase series 40-75KTLX-G4-LV. With a maximum efficiency of 98.5%, the new series is equipped with 8 MPPTs and a DC/AC ratio up to two. It features an operating current of 20A per input, perfectly compatible with 700W+ modules. In addition, embedded AFCI, type-II SPD and integrated IP66+C5 protection guarantee stable operation and a long service life against corrosion in tropical environments.

“We’re very excited about the beginning of this partnership and the new horizons it can bring. Over the years, SOFAR has demonstrated its product quality and this was a determining factor in us sealing the agreement. We count on the company’s continuous technological advancement, so that we’re always delivering the best to our customers,” said Gustavo Tegon, Institutional Director of BelEnergy.

Roy Du, Head of SOFAR LATAM, sees this as a significant milestone as the company introduces its expertise and innovations to the local market. “We have built a comprehensive team covering sales, customer service and technical support in Brazil since 2018 to provide timely support to local customers. Now we take a step further to forge the distribution agreement with BelEnergy, which reinforces our commitment to the LATAM clean transition towards renewable energy matrix. We’re looking forward to working with BelEnergy for a long time to come,” he added.

Earlier in the month, SOFAR launched its PowerMega (350KTLX0) for the Indian market. The prodict is tailored for utility-scale projects both in India and globally.

BelEnergy is a firm in the Brazilian solar market, that offers installation, modules, inverters, electrical protections, fixing structures, cables and connectors.

In 2022, SOFAR’s annual production capacity reached 10 GW for inverters and 1GWh for batteries. By 2022, SOFAR had shipped over 18 GW inverters to over 100 countries and regions worldwide.
