SJVN Seeks Developers to Supply & Maintain 18 MW Solar Projects Tariff Discovered in SJVN 1.5 GW Tender Exceeds INR 4 per Kwh

SJVN Green Energy Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN has issued a tender to invite bids for the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, commissioning of grid connected solar power project of cumulative capacity of 18 MW (AC) at four different locations of Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), including three (03) years of comprehensive operation & maintenance.

This is an open tender basis single stage two envelope (i.e. envelope-I: technocommercial bid and envelope-II: price bid) with reverse auction.

The cost of the tender document is INR  5,000.00 (INR Five Thousand only) +18% GST.

The last date and time of submission of bid is November 7, 2023. The date and time of opening of techno-commercial bid is November 7, 2023. The last date of submission of documents in hard copy is  November 14, 2023.

The period of bid validity is 120 days from the last date of submission of bids prescribed by SGEL and any extension thereof.

Qualifications 

The bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned EPC of solar photo voltaic (SPV) based grid connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 10 MWp or higher capacity out of which at least one plant must be of 04 MWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 04 MWp or higher capacity must be in successful operation for at least three (3) months prior to the last day of month previous to one in which NIT is issued.

Earlier, SJVN issued a tender inviting bids from developers to establish 1500 MW ISTS-connected (Inter-State Transmission System) wind-solar hybrid projects in India. The SJVN has been allocated 10 GW of tenders in the trajectory outlined by the MNRE.
