SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has issued a tender for the Balance of System (BoS) package including three years of comprehensive operation & maintenance of two grid-connected solar PV power projects of total capacity of 360 MW (AC) at different locations in the state of Gujarat.

It has invited online bids through open tender basis on single stage two Envelope (that is, envelope-I: technocommercial bid and envelope-II: price bid) with reverse auction. The capacity of the projects is 100 MW (AC) and 260 MW (AC) which shall be installed at Village Mothara, Tehsil -Abdasa, District-Kutch, Gujarat.

The last date and time of submission of bid is August 1, 2023. The date & time of opening of techno-commercial bid is August 1, 2023. The date & time of opening of price bid will be notified to techno commercially qualified bidders.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and three (03) years of comprehensive operation & maintenance solar PV power projects. PV modules shall be supplied separately to BOS contractor by SGEL.

SGEL had already signed Power Purchase Agreement with GUNVL in response to Request for Selection (RFS) for 100 MW last year and for 260 MW (AC) in April, 2023.

The duration of comprehensive operation and maintenance for three years from the date of completion of Commercial Operation Date (COD). The cost of bid document (nonrefundable) is INR 5000 +18% GST.

The bid security/earnest money deposit requirement is INR 3.70 Cr for 100 MW, INR 9.60 Cr for 260 MW, INR 13.30 Cr for 360 MW.

Recently, SJVN Ltd invited bids for the selection of developers for 1.5 GW of firm and dispatchable power from renewable power projects with energy storage systems. A few days ago, SJVN Ltd arm, SJVN Green Energy had won a capacity of 200 MW wind power project won through competitive bidding in a tender floated by Solar Energy Corporation of India.

SJVN is striving towards generating capacity worth 25 GW by 2030, more than half of which are to come from solar and wind resources.
