Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Green Energy has published a tender for the operation and maintenance of a 70 MW capacity (AC). This 70 MW solar power facility in the Himachal Pradesh state includes Unit I, a 30 MW Kolar, Unit II, a 20 MW Bhanjal & Kadh, and Unit III, a 20 MW Fatehpur grid-connected solar PV power plant.

The last date for submitting the online bid is October 31, 2022, and the bid will be opened on the same day.

Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 11,800/- as a cost of the tender document. For participating in the bidding process, interested bidders will have to pay the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) as per the following

Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for 20 MW – Rs. 1.29 Crore, 

Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for 30 MW – Rs. 1.88 Crore, 

Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for 40 MW – Rs. 2.58 Crore, 

Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for 50 MW – Rs. 3.17 Crore

The awarded bidder also has to pay Rs. 15000/- as an ETS bidding fee, which is non-refundable. 

The bidders must have experience in the same kind of work with ground-mounted solar power projects connected to the grid within the previous five years. The projects must comprise transmission line construction, switchyard/substation bay, design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance of grid-connected solar power plants. 

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process is at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X Capacity in MW bidder is bidding X 0.7 = X Cr. 

The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be positive & not be less than 100% of the paid-up share capital, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)
