SJVN Enlisting EPC Firms for Development and O&M of 100 MW+ Solar Plant

SJVN is enlisting EPC vendors for the development of a 100 MW+ solar PV power plant anywhere in India along with its O&M.

SJVN Ltd, a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has issued an Expression of Interest (EoI) for the enlistment of EPC vendors for the development of a solar PV power plant of capacity of 100 MW (AC) and above anywhere in India along with its comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for a period up to 10 years.

The last date for submission (online) of EoI is December 17, 2020, and the submitted EoI’s will be opened on the same date. A pre-submission clarification meeting has been scheduled for December 11, 2020, to address the concerns raised by prospective bidders/ participants. There is no Earnest Money Deposit to be submitted by the participants.

The selected EPC vendors will be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacture, procurement and supply of equipment, and materials, testing at manufacturers works, inspection, packing and transportation, unloading at the site, storage and preservation at site, associated civil works, services, permits, installation and incidentals, insurance at all stages, erection, testing and commissioning of 100 MW AC and above solar PV power plant with associated equipment and materials on turnkey basis.

To be eligible for participating in the EoI, the bidders must have successfully completed at least one solar project of 50 MW or higher capacity involving design, erection, supply, installation, commissioning, all other related services and O&M having a total value not less than Rs 150 crore during last seven years. And the above-completed project should have been in successful operation for at least one year, ending the last date of opening of EoI.

And they must be presently in the business of O&M of a minimum of one solar PV power project of at least 50 MW or higher capacity.

Financially, the average annual financial turnover of the applicants for the last three financial years must be at least Rs 150 crore. And the net worth of the bidder must be positive in the previous audited year.

It has been specified that the applicants, whose application meets the minimum qualifications requirements and found eligible in all respects will be enlisted for development of solar PV power plant of capacity of 100 MW (AC) and above anywhere in India along with its comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for a period up to 10 years.

Subsequent to enlistment, the enlisted applicants will be invited to submit bids in respect of specific enquiry for the development /execution/ implementation of solar PV power projects.
