NEEPCO Tenders for O&M of 5 MW Solar Plant in Tripura

NEEPCO has issued a tender, seeking assistance in the execution of the day-to-day O&M work of the 5 MW solar plant at the Tripura Gas Based Power Plant.

The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO), a subsidiary of NTPC, has issued a tender seeking assistance in the execution of the day to day operation and maintenance (O&M) work of the 5 MW grid-tied solar power plant at the Tripura Gas Based Power Plant of NEEPCO.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 40.68 lakh and all bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 80 thousand along with their bids. The last date for submission of proposals is November 16, 2020, and the technical bids will be opened on November 17, 2020.

To babe eligible for participating in the bidding process, the tenderers should have experience of similar jobs entrusted by any Government of India PSU/ industry over the last three years.

Financially, the average annual turnover of the bidders should not be less than Rs 30 lakh during the previous three financial years. However, the minimum average annual turnover (MAAT) shall be calculated based on the best three financial years out o the last 5.

The selected vendors will be employed for a duration of 2 years from the date of issuance of the letter of award.

Recently, BHEL has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible vendors for undertaking the task of operation and maintenance of NTPC’s 50 MW solar power plant at Ananthapur in Andhra Pradesh.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 64.42 lakh and all bidders (including MSMEs) are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1.30 lakh along with their bids. And the selected firms will be contracted for a period of 11 months from the date of signing of the letter of award, with work expected to begin in November.

The last date for submission of proposals on this tender is October 26, 2020, and the technical bids will be opened on the same date. To be eligible for participating in the bidding process the bidders must have an average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years ending March 31, of the previous financial year, not less than 30 percent of the NIT value.
