A subsidiary of SJVN, SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) has issued a tender for the supply of a Balance of System (BOS) package. It also entails O&M services for a 200 MW solar project at Khavda Solar Park, Gujarat.

The last date for the submission of bids is September 5, 2023. Bids open on September 5, 2023.

The scope of the work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning the project.

SGEL had bagged 200 MW of capacity after quoting INR 2.88 per KWh in May this year and entered into a PPA with GUVNL (Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd).

The EPC of the project (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) must be completed within a year of issuing of the LoA.

For eligibility, the bidder must have had experience in design, supply, supervision and commissioning BOS/ EPC for SPV based grid-connected power plants with a total of 30 MWp or more, entailing a minimum of 10 MW or more in the span of the last seven years.

Earlier, SGEL received the letter of Intent (LOI) from Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). This agreement will pave the way for the procurement of 1200 MW solar power. As per the contract terms, SGEL will develop 1000 MW project anywhere in the country. The remaining 200 MW in the state of Punjab will be set up as per the RFS provisions.
