Sineng Celebrates 5th India Anniversary, 6 GW Milestone at Delhi

Inverter Major Sineng chad twin reasons to celebrate on June 16, when it hosted a glittering event to celebrate its 5th anniversary in India, and the milestone of 6 GW shipments in the country.

As one of the key manufacturers in India with its 10 GW manufacturing plant in Bengaluru (expanded from an earlier 3 GW capacity), the Company has made a deep commitment to the Indian market and its growth. Starting out with a very strong portfolio and reputation for central inverters, Sineng has expanded it’s range significantly in recent years to add string inverters as an option for its customers. Consequently, the Company has a very strong presence in the utility scale segment.

Thanks to its manufacturing plant in India, the Company is able to offer faster deliveries and turnaround times to its clients in India.

The celebratory event, hosted at a premium venue at the capital’s Aerocity complex, saw Sineng India team welcome their clients from across the country and celebrate in style. With some of the country’s largest developers as clients, it was a great get together for industry folks to meet each other and exchange views too.

Shekhar Dutta from Solar Developers Association of India was the Chief Guest at the event. In his address to the guests, Dutta stressed on the impact high quality electronics enterprises like Sineng have made to the energy transition of India, and the high growth prospects and opportunities In India solar market.

John Hu from Sineng Electric, in a special video message for the audience, recounted Sineng’s decision to invest in India back in 2017, making India the first overseas base on the globe outside China to have a local manufacturing plant. Sharing their commitment to meeting critical green energy goals, Hu stressed Sineng’s development strategy for the future, as demonstrated by the expansion of the plant capacity to 10 GW recently. The Bengaluru plant is expected to serve as a source for exports to multiple global markets.

Amit Joshi, Head of BD – India, Sineng Electric was effusive in thanking all the clients who took out time to join in the anniversary celebrations. “As one of the leading inverter supplier in India, Sineng has been overwhelmed by the support we have received from the market. Our team will strive to keep meeting customers’ expectations in the future, with state-of-the-art products that are not only made for India, but also made in India,“ he added.

Arun Chaudhary, Head of Sales – North of India, Sineng Electric participated in the panel discussion where he fielded questions from many customers on future plans of the Company in storage solutions, impact of the supply chain volatility and upcoming inverter models.

The brightest part of the evening was the clients who did not hesitate to appreciate the benefits Sineng brought to their solar projects. While wishing the Company well, all the clients at the event highlighted the hassle-free experience with Sineng products they had used at their projects. Some, from reputed industry leaders also shared positive feedback for the Company which was thoroughly appreciated by Sineng India team.
