The State Bank Of India (SBI) has invited requests for proposals (RFP) for the engagement of PSU/government bodies as a consultant for 2 MW of on-grid solar power plant on a depository work basis at the bank’s land in Mahindra World City, Jaipur.

The last date for submitting the bid for this SBI 2 MW solar power project is December 05, 2022, till 03:00 pm & bids will be opened on December 07, 2022, at 03:30 pm.

The scope of work of this State Bank of India (SBI) 2 MW tender includes design, engineering, site development, manufacture, inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, erection, testing & commissioning. The scope of work also includes operation & maintenance (O&M) services.

The chosen consultant must assist the bank in making claims for discounts, rebates, and subsidies from the relevant government agencies for the solar project. The PSUs interested in submitting a bid must have project consulting expertise for at least one similar project totaling Rs 8 crore, two similar projects totaling Rs 5 crore, or three similar projects totaling Rs 4 crore over the previous seven years. 

Average Annual financial turnover during the last 3 years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, should be at least Rs 4 crore per annum from the last three financial years ending on 31.03.2021 based on audited annual accounts. 

The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year should be positive, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)

Recently, SBI entered into an agreement with Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd. for financing solar projects. Set up in the Ballard Estate in Mumbai, the Surya Shakti Cell proceeds all loan applications for solar projects (capacity up to 1 MW) sourced from across India, for installation by business entities as well as households.
