Solar PV module manufacturer and solar EPC service provider Saatvik Green Energy has bagged a complete solar EPC contract for an 8.08 MW DC (6.5 MW AC) solar power project in Karnataka.

Saatvik has been awarded the project by a large cement and power conglomerate in India and will be responsible for the execution of the ground-mounted solar project. It will be solely accountable for the project’s Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).

This ground-mounted project will be established on 22 acres of land and the power generated by the project will be evacuated at the 11 kV level and injected into the existing 11 kV Switchyard.

Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy said, “The company is taking a step forward with this Solar EPC project in order to create a sustainable future that contributes to a greener environment, and they are also committed to completing the project within the time frame specified.”

Saatvik Green Energy delivers renewable energy to its clients by establishing both on-site (rooftop, ground-mounted & floating) solar projects and off-site solar energy facilities. The firm also manufactures ALMM approved solar PV modules for commercial, residential, and utility projects.

Saatvik recently said that it was looking to establish a 1.5 GW panel manufacturing plant in the United States. The firm already has a a 1.5 GW plant in Haryana that could reach 3 GW by September. Currently, it in the process of developing a new 2.5 GW panel and cell facility in Gujarat, India.
