Roofsol Energy Pvt. Ltd., a player in India’s solar EPC sector, has announced the successful commissioning of over 29 MWp of solar capacity through 14 projects spread across 12 Indian states and more than five industrial sectors.

The newly commissioned installations are expected to generate over 45.78 million units (kWh) of green electricity annually, contributing meaningfully to national renewable energy targets and energy security.

According to Roofsol Energy, the projects will collectively offset more than 40,000 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year—equivalent to planting approximately 1.78 million trees.

Divergent Challenges

“These 29+ MWp across diverse states highlight not just our engineering strength, but our deep commitment to sustainable growth,” said Dipankar Pal, Managing Director of Roofsol Energy. “Delivering solar projects across 12 geographies, each with distinct challenges, demonstrates our team’s agility and determination. We are proud to be part of India’s renewable energy movement with scalable, future-proof EPC offerings.”

Roofsol’s solar EPC solutions cater to both rooftop and ground-mounted systems, with applications across commercial and industrial sectors. The company is actively expanding its presence in the RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) model, particularly in the rooftop and behind-the-meter segments.

Over A Decade Of EPC Experience

Backed by over a decade of EPC experience and strong funding access, Roofsol aims to rapidly scale its operational asset portfolio. “We expect our OPEX-based portfolio to cross 200 MWp within this year,” Pal added.

Roofsol Energy continues to position itself as a reliable partner for clean energy transitions with a focus on technically sound, cost-efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions.
