REIL Tenders for Rooftop & Small Solar Plants Across Uttarakhand

REIL has issued a tender for rooftop and small solar projects of capacity between 1 kWp and 500 kWp across 9 sites in Uttarakhand.

Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible vendors for commissioning of rooftop and small solar projects of capacity between 1 kWp and 500 kWp across 9 sites in the state of Uttarakhand.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include all the works required for proper installation of the solar PV power plant including necessary civil works for mounting structures of solar module, shall be done by the contractor. And, net metering arrangements, with related connectivity components and other charges including the supply of meter shall also be in the scope of the contractor.

On successful commissioning of the project, the developers will have to make all necessary arrangements for satisfactory operation, maintenance and performance of the power plant for a period of 5 years. The complete grid-connected solar plant shall be warranted against any manufacturing/ design/ installation defects for a minimum period of 5 years from the date of commissioning.

Furthermore, for proper functioning and maintenance of the solar plants, the contractor shall have to establish at least one service station in every district where plants are installed by them.

To be eligible, the bidders should have experience in the supply of BOS and installation and commissioning of cumulative 100 kWp grid-connected solar plants during the last three financial years. Financially, the firms should have a minimum annual average turnover of Rs 50 lakh in the last three financial years.

The last date for bid submission is September 24, 2020, and the technical bids will be opened on September 25, 2020. The date and time of opening of the commercial bids will be intimated to the technically cleared bidders later. All bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1.5 lakh along with their bids. It has been stated that all MSEs (that are eligible) will be exempted from payment of any fees or deposit in the tendering process.

In July, REIL had issued a tender for the rate contract for commissioning and maintenance of residential rooftop solar PV power systems across various locations in Bihar. The Projects are being implemented under Phase-II of the Rooftop Solar Programme Scheme of MNRE. Pertaining to which a Central Financial Assistance (CFA) will be made available by the MNRE. Further, financial assistance from the Government of Bihar will also be provided under the programme for the implementation in the residential sector within the state of Bihar.
