Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Floats Tender To Select Consultant For Hybrid Energy

Ministry of Power Releases Guidelines For Uniform Renewable Tariff

Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam (RUVNL) has invited bids to select consultants for hybrid renewable energy (wind and solar) generation forecasting and schedule optimizer services. 

The last date for submitting the online bid is November 7, 2022, & bids will be opened on November 11, 2022.

The selected consultant will sign a two-year contract that contract can also be extended by an additional 12 months. To offer all users reliable power around-the-clock while lowering power purchase costs, the consultants must assist RUVNL in planning, organizing, and guiding energy portfolio management.

The scope of work for this hybrid tender comprises forecasting for short-, medium-, and long-term power and energy demand as well as for renewable energy. The chosen consultant must also offer an evaluation of power availability and purchase. Bilateral market participation strategy, dispatch planning, network management, database management, integration of real-time market bidding solutions, and numerous reports must all be provided by the company.

Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs 11,800 as a tender document processing fee. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 10,000,00 as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee. The awarded bidder must provide 10% of the total capacity as a bank security deposit within 30 days of receiving the letter of award.

To be eligible for the tender, bidders must have completed at least one project with a value of more than Rs 2 crore, two projects with a value of more than Rs 1.25 crore (each), or three projects with a value of more than Rs 1 crore (each) during the previous three years.

The minimum average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the last three years should be 1.5 crores in any two years during the last five financial years from consulting. The net worth of the bidder during the last financial year should be positive.
