Raghumani Singh Resigns from Chairmanship of MANIREDA

Resignation of Raghumani Singh as MANIREDA Chairman

BJP MLA Kh Raghumani Singh has resigned from the post of the Chairman of MANIREDA (Manipur Renewable Energy Development). He has cited personal reasons for the same.

Singh had submitted his resignation to Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today. The letter stated that he was resigning because of “personal reasons and also in the public interest, it is felt that my continuance as Chairman of MANIREDA is not called for at this juncture. Therefore, I hereby tender my resignation from the said post of Chairman & the same may kindly be accepted.”

Raghumani Singh is a former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. He was elected to the Uripok assembly after he defeated ex Deputy Chief Minister Y Joykumar in the previous state elections.

MANIREDA is the the state nodal agency for the implementation of renewable energy projects and schemes.
