Paresh Ranpara Joins Grid India as Director, Human Resources

Paresh Ranpara has joined the Grid Controller of India (effective 31.05.2023) as Director, Human Resources. Ranpara has almost three decades of experience as an HR professional in the power sector. His professional experience entails his role as the General Manager of Human Resources at Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL).

Paresh Ranpara takes charge as Director, Human Resources of Grid India

The newly appointed Director of HR was welcomed by Chairman & Managing Director, S. R. Narasimhan, S.S Barpanda, Director (Market Operation) with other senior officials at Grid Controller of India Limited.

Previously known as Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO), Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India), is a wholly owned Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Power. The firm has upon its shoulders the responsibility of operating India’s electricity grid through the National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC) and five Regional Load Despatch Centres (RLDCs). It makes sure that power is exchanged in a reliable and resilient manner within and across the regions as well as trans-nationally to reach over 1.4 billion consumers.
