The said onshore wind farms, namely Croix Erable, Bertaut, and Le Langrois, boast of a cumulative capacity of 49 MW. The firm will add the three new farms to the ten existing ones in France. With this addition, Octopus Energy will have 13 wind farms.

Presently, the firm delves into managing 14 French solar farms with several other projects under development.

The wind farms will be established in the Vienne region in the west and the Haute Marne region in the northeastern part of France. Construction has kickstarted and will be set into motion through 2023 and 2024, providing power to 30,000 homes. In addition, octopus has set sights on powering up 300,000 households in France.
