NTPC Tenders for 2 MW Solar Plant at Agartala Airport

NTPC subsidiary NVVN has issued a tender for setting up of 2 MW solar PV power plant with net metering at the Agartala Airport.

NTPC subsidiary NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN) has issued a tender, inviting builds from eligible bidders, for setting up of 2 MW solar PV power plant with net metering at the Agartala Airport.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include designing, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, erection, testing and commissioning of 2 MW (AC) solar PV plant with Net Metering. The developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the plant for a period of 3 years from the date of successful commissioning.

NVVN intends to finance the subject package through external commercial borrowings/ domestic commercial borrowings/ own sources.

The last date for bid submission is February 22, 2021, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on February 23, 2021. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be intimated 

Separately by NVVN to bidders with technically cleared bids.

To be eligible for participating in the biding process, the bidders must have designed, supplied, erected/ supervised erection and commissioned/ supervised commissioning of solar PV based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 800 kWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 100 kW or higher capacity. The reference plant of 100 kW or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the techno-commercial bid opening date.

Financially, the average annual turnover of the bidder, should not be less than Rs 7.55 crore during the preceding three financial years. And the net worth of the bidder as on the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100 percent of the bidder’s paid-up share capital.

In December 2020, the subsidiary had issued a tender for the commissioning of rooftop/ ground-mounted/ elevated structure solar PV projects worth 30 MW across Madhya Pradesh. 

Prior to that, the firm had issued another tender for the commissioning of a 3 MW grid-tied rooftop solar power plant at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur.
