National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) Renewables has floated a balance of system (BOS) tender package for a 1200 MW (4 X 300 MW) solar project at Khavda RE power park, Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.

The last date for submitting the bid of this NTPC BOS tender is January 09, 2023, till 03:00 pm and the bid will be opened on the same day at 03:30 pm.

The scope of work of this NTPC BOS tender includes detailed designing, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic plant excluding Supply of Solar PV modules (PV Modules shall be supplied by NTPC REL as Free Issue item). The scope of work also includes receipt, unloading at the site, storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV Modules. 

Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 22,500/- as a cost of the tender document, which is non-refundable. Each interested bidder will have to pay bid security as per the following given table:

To procure this tender, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/ supervised erection and commissioned/ supervised commissioning of Balance of System of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 10 MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six (6) months before the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.

The average annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than the financial figure as mentioned in the table below, for any three (03) financial years out of the preceding five (05) financial years as of the date of the techno-commercial bid opening:

The net worth of the Bidder as of the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100% (hundred percent) of the bidder’s paid-up share capital. 

Net worth in a combined manner shall be calculated as follows: Net worth (combined) = (X1+ X2+X3) / (Y1+Y2+Y3) X 100 where X1, X2, X3 

are individual Net worth which should not be less than 75% of the respective paid-up share capitals and Y1, Y2, and Y3 are individually paid-up share capitals.
