NTPC Enlisting EPC Vendors for Floating/Ground Mounted Solar Projects

NTPC has invited applications for enlistment of EPC vendors/bidders for floating/ground-mounted solar projects of NTPC between 10 and 50 MW capacity.

NTPC Ltd. has issued a Notice Inviting Applications (NIA), inviting applications from eligible bidders for the enlistment of EPC vendors/bidders for floating/ground-mounted solar projects of NTPC between 10 and 50 MW capacity.

The brief scope of work to be executed by an enlisted bidders will include the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of grid-connected A.C. capacity from 10MW (including) to below 50 MW floating and/or ground-mounted solar PV project on a turnkey basis. The bidders will also be required to provide comprehensive operation & maintenance of the plant and transmission system for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of a trial run.

The last date for submission of applications is July 24, 2019, and the applications will be opened on the same date.

To be eligible, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned/ supervised commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 8 MW or higher, out of which  at least one plant should have been of 2 MW or higher capacity. The reference plant of 2 MW or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last date of submission of application for enlistment.

In February, NTPC Ltd. had issued an NIA, inviting bids from eligible bidders for the enlistment of Wind Energy Projects (WEP) anywhere in India of NTPC. The brief scope of work for enlisted wind energy developers will include, the design, engineering, micro-siting, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning and proving the guaranteed performance parameters for installation of the offered wind farm including Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), control panels, reactive power compensating devices, Central  monitoring  and control system (CMCS), Wind monitoring mast(s) etc.

Earlier, the power firm had issued another NIA, for the enlistment of EPC Bidders for development of Solar Power. Projects of NTPC.
