Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (NLC) India has invited bids for the setting up of a 300 MW (tender) grid-connected solar power project at Barsingsar, Rajasthan.

The last date for submitting the bid for this 300 MW tender is November 11, 2022, up to 02:30 pm, and bids will be opened on the same day at 03:00 pm.

The scope of work of this NLC India 300 MW tender includes design, engineering, site development, manufacture, inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, erection, testing & commissioning. Scope of work also includes operation & maintenance (O&M) of the entire SPP up to the delivery point, free of cost for the warranty period of 12 months from COD (Commercial Operation Declaration) and paid O&M of SPP for 3 years after the warranty period.

Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 20,000 (including 18% GST) as a cost of the tender document, which is non-refundable. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 32,86,00,600 as a bid guarantee. 

To be eligible for this tender, the interested bidder must have, as of the originally scheduled date of tender opening, completed contracts for the supply, installation, and commissioning of grid-connected solar power projects with cumulative installed capacities of 90 MWp or higher within the previous seven years. One plant or order with a capacity of 30 MWp or more in a single location, operating successfully for at least a year as of the originally scheduled date of tender opening, must have been part of a total order of 90 MW or more.

The average annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than RRs. 493 Crores in the preceding three financial years. The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be positive, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)
