NISE conducting 2 Days Skill Development Program On “Solar Resource Measurement, Assessment and Calibration”

National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), an autonomous center of excellence of MNRE, is conducting two days skill development program on “Solar Resource Measurement, Assessment and Calibration”.

The Learning Objectives of the skill development program includes: - I. Learn about Solar Radiation Availability, Sun Path, and Irradiance / Insolation, II. Computational methods for assessment of Solar Radiation, III. Instrumentation and Requirements for a Solar Radiation Resource Measurement Station, IV. Application of Solar Radiation data, to Industry in Technology selection and V. Standards and Requirements for calibration of Solar Radiometers

Scientists, Researchers, Engineers Technologists, Manufacturers of Solar Business, SNA officials, any individual wishing to know about Sun and its resource Potential can participate in this NISE’s skill development program.

NISE notes that training fee per participant is Rs. 5,450 (Inclusive of Service Tax) and there are total of 20 seats per batch, which will be offered on first come first serve basis
