NISE to conduct a One Day Workshop on Prospects for Start-ups in Solar Energy Technologies on 26 October

The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is an autonomous institute under MNRE, Government of India, and it specializes in facilitating research & development, certification, testing, skill development activities in the field of solar energy technologies.

In line with the Start up India Initiative by the Government of India, NISE is organizing the 4^th one day Workshop on Prospects for Start-ups in Solar Energy Technologies for start –ups in solar energy Technologies at NISE campus Gurugram on 26th October 2016.

The target audience is the existing and prospective Solar Entrepreneurs, EPC contractors, Graduate Engineers, MNRE channel partners, Energy department officials of Government of India, Officers from state nodal Agencies and individuals business men interested in solar field.

Learning Objectives

• Scope and Business Opportunities in Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal and Solar Water Pumping Technologies
• Opportunities under Start up India / Stand up India Policy of Govt of India
• Visit to 500 kW Power Plant at NISE (100 kW x 5 different Solar PV Modules)
• Economics of Solar Technologies. Business Models for Funding, etc
• How to start a Company, Different types of Companies, Compliance Mechanism with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Service Tax rules, Tax payments, Tax Breaks, etc.

Training Fee per Participant will be Rs 2000 plus 15% service tax. There are a total of 75 seats on first come first serve basis. Lunch, Tea will be provided during the Workshop. Accommodation, TA/DA would not be provided by NISE.
