NISE to Conduct One Day Workshop on Prospects for Start-ups in Solar Energy Technologies

National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is organizing 6^th One Day Workshop on Prospects for Start-ups in Solar Energy Technologies on 21^st June 2017, at NISE campus Gurugram.

In line with the Start up India Initiative by the Govt of India, the workshop has been specifically designed for existing and prospective Solar Entrepreneurs, EPC contractors, Graduate Engineers, MNRE channel partners, Energy department officials of Govt of India, Officers from state nodal Agencies and individuals business men interested in solar field.

Learning Objectives:

• Scope and Business Opportunities in Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal and Solar Water Pumping Technologies.
• Opportunities under Start up India / Stand Up India Policy of Govt of India.
• Visit to 500 kW Power Plant at NISE (100 kW x 5 different Solar PV Modules).
• Visit to 150 kW Solar roof top Plant at NISE.
• Net-Zero Campus Concept at NISE.
• Economics of Solar Technologies. Business Models for Funding, etc.
• How to start a Company, Different types of Companies, Compliance Mechanism with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Service Tax rules, Tax payments, Tax Breaks, etc.

Training Fee per Participant is Rs 2,000 plus 15% Service Tax. There are total of 80 seats which will be offered on first come first serve basis.
